Many marketers have tons of options when deciding what strategies to use for their business. Despite all these options they still bypass some significant strategies.
The first step is having your business name, logo, business cards, website, etc. What you should do next is create a survey, not for your customers but your employees. You should find out what happens from the moment they say hello to a customer. How do your employees feel about where they work. This will have a huge impact on sales and what you are trying to achieve. People who are inspired to give great service do well as employees and make the difference between your company and the next one.
You should be creating a plan to keep customers because it costs less to keep a customer than it does to find a new one. Do this by contacting them through mail, phone, or email.
These other items can each be a piece of your marketing strategy:Advertisements, presentations, your reputation, networking, customer surveys, contests, rewards for customers and employees, business involvement in the community, getting your named mentioned in the press or something written about your business, being a guest speaker, hosting events in the community, train and cultivate your workers.
If you don’t have a lot of time then you should only focus on a few and dedicate yourself to them rather then doing a lot and spreading yourself thin.
