Do you only have a single audience you are directing your products/services to? Your sales will improve by expanding your target market. There are many inventive ways to grow your target markets by using the products you have now. They are included here:
Redesign. You can enlarge your target markets by giving your product/service a new look. If you are selling a book you could rewrite part of it to appeal to a brand new audience. You have now doubled the market you sell you book to.
Add-on. You can also raise your target markets by putting another product or service alongside your main one. If you’re selling a soccer magazine you could offer a free soccer ball every time someone purchases a subscription. Now you are aiming for people who want to read the soccer articles and the other people that just want the soccer ball to use. Many times someone buys a product just to get a free item.
Team-up. You can add to your target markets by cross promoting products with a company who isn’t your competitor. If you sell running shoes, you can cross promote your shoes with a business that sells running apparel. Or combine both items in a package for a great deal.
